Boughton Estate extends to over 11,200 acres, with over half of the Estate managed by our in hand farming and woodland operations. BQ Farms (South) Ltd (the in-hand farming company) farms the 4000 acre mixed unit comprising of a dairy herd, breeding & finishing sheep, beef unit and arable operations. The in-hand farmland also includes conservation areas along with game covers which are carefully managed to encourage high numbers of rare species. BQ Farms (South) Ltd is involved with the Entry Level  and Countryside Stewardship schemes.
