The Grade I Listed park surrounding Boughton House is the expansive heart of the Estate and touches the villages by reaching out with historic avenues of lime trees and carefully tended lawns which evolve out into stewarded grazing land. Closer to the house, the C17th design features are currently being restored, recreated and reacquainted with the park's originally planned architectural grandeur. Landscapes and waterscapes have been carefully contained with linear features and striking angular characteristics which are demonstrated with the recent Dead Reach and Mount projects.

The creative Montagus of the 18th Century would, I think, have been intrigued.
