Buccleuch Woodlands cover 2345 acres of the Boughton Estate. These woodlands comprise of mostly mixed deciduous planting mixes, with harvesting methods based around a selective thinning and coppicing system. Along with conservation and replanting of the species rich woodlands habitat, Buccleuch Woodlands also offer a seasoned firewood home delivery service and woodchip for combined heat and power units (CHP’s). Aboricultural services which include tree surgery, lopping, pruning and tree removal are also available for local private and commercial customers.
